NULITE BLN-050TC3 is a commercial high-temperature air-to-water heat pump with inverter control and natural R290 refrigerant. A single monobloc unit delivers up to 50 kW of heating, up to 35 kW of cooling, and outlet water up to 75 °C. It is intended for year-round heating, cooling, and domestic hot-water systems.
Five operating modes
The controller supports heating, cooling, domestic hot water, heating plus DHW, and cooling plus DHW. This allows one equipment type to serve several seasonal duties and reduces the number of separate plant items in the building services system.
Capacity and operating envelope
At A7/6 °C and W30/35 °C, the heating capacity modulates from 17.56 to 50 kW. At the higher W47/55 °C water condition, the unit delivers 17.95–49 kW. Cooling capacity at A35/24 °C and W12/7 °C is 10–35 kW. The manufacturer's heating envelope covers −25 to +45 °C ambient: maximum outlet water temperature is 65 °C at −25 °C, 67 °C at −20 °C, 69 °C at −15 °C, and reaches 75 °C from −10 °C upward.
Inverter architecture and cascade control
The DC-inverter rotary compressor and inverter fan modulate output to match the current load. Weather-compensation curves, forced defrosting, and a sterilization function help adapt operation to the site. Cascade control for up to 16 units is stated for larger systems, supporting staged capacity, redundancy, and future expansion.
Local and remote control
The local interface is a 5-inch touchscreen with support for up to 20 languages. The brochure lists Wi-Fi, RS-485, a mobile app, and an IoT web platform for remote status viewing, setpoint adjustment, and equipment notifications. Remote features and licensing scope should be confirmed at order stage.
Applications
- hotels, resorts, dormitories, and serviced-apartment developments;
- hospitals, clinics, sports centers, pools, and shower facilities;
- schools, campuses, administrative buildings, and public facilities;
- restaurants, canteens, laundries, and food-processing sites;
- warehouses, workshops, manufacturing, and logistics facilities;
- central heating, cooling, and DHW for residential and commercial developments;
- processes requiring water temperatures up to 75 °C.
Hydraulic connection and design
Rated water flow is 8.6 m³/h, with a DN40, G 1-1/2″ connection and a maximum water-side pressure drop of 65 kPa. The unit requires a 380–415 V, three-phase, 50 Hz supply. The typical arrangement includes a primary heat-pump circuit, circulation pumps, buffer storage, heating and cooling circuits, isolation valves, and safety devices.
Selection is based on design load, DHW consumption profile, water-temperature requirements, climate, acoustic limits, and available electrical capacity. The system design must address buffer volume, hydraulic separation, water quality, freeze protection, condensate drainage, unrestricted airflow, service clearances, and requirements for R290 equipment. R290 is a flammable refrigerant, so charge limits, ventilation, separation distances, and safety measures must be determined by the project and applicable regulations.
Specifications were transcribed from the supplied brochure. Actual capacity and COP depend on air and water temperatures, flow rate, and operating mode. Configuration, certification, IoT availability, and the final system arrangement must be confirmed before ordering.
